ACEM - Mental Health Emergencies

About The Event

The Australasian College of Paramedicine has partnered with ACEM SA Specialist Education Committee to host an Education Evening for 2022 Mental Health Emergencies, on Thursday 4 August, 7:00pm ACST.

The event will feature presentations from guest speakers

  • Pre-hospital Management of Mental Health Emergencies - Hannah Andia - SAAS Paramedic
  • Avoiding the Needle – Dr Andrew Perry, FACEM CALHN
  • Pharmacological management of the agitated patient - Dr Steve Colhoun, FACEM CALHN
  • Borderline Personality Disorder - Seb Alder-Price, Psychiatrist, NALHN
  • Statewide perspective on Acute Mental Health - Dr Paul Furst, Psychiatrist, Chair of the SA Faculty of the RANZCP
