About

To work effectively with people from different cultures, you need to be aware of cultural differences. In this course, we'll take a look at some of those differences and how to interact with people who are on a contrasting end of the cultural spectrum.

By the end of this course, you should be able to:

  • Describe the importance of developing cultural competency.
  • Discuss the impact of culture on health literacy.
  • Apply the elements of cultural competency (Knowledge, Attitudes, Skills).
  • Evaluate your own cultural values.
