This is the first module in a 3-part series focused on brain anatomy. You will find links to the others at the end of this module.

Having a sound knowledge of the structures of the brain and their function allows clinicians to understand the disease process as it relates to the brain, be it traumatic, organic, acute, or chronic. The following module is a comprehensive review of the anatomy of the brain.

By the end of this course, you should be able to:

  • Identify normal cranial structures.
  • Identify regions of the brain and their function.
