Antibiotic allergy awareness

Antibiotic allergy awareness

About

In this microlearning, we review antibiotic allergic and nonallergic reactions and the clinical presentation and significance of each. Nonallergic reactions are much more common and can range from mild symptoms, such as rashes and gastrointestinal symptoms. Allergic reactions can be severe and potentially life-threatening; thus prompt recognition and intervention is crucial.
