Facilitated by Aidan Baron ( @aLittlemedic ) LGBTQIA+ Patients often face multiple barriers accessing care, they can be a higher risk population and as paramedics and emergency healthcare providers, we are often the first point of contact for many of these patients in crisis - whether related to their diverse genders or sexualities, or because, like all people, sometimes we face medical emergencies.
