About

Paediatrics Webinar Series

The College is excited to announce a series of paediatric online modules for its members. This series will include four interactive workshops delivered by experts from Medicine, Paramedicine, and Nursing.

These sessions will cover topics raised by members to improve their care of the complex paediatric patient, including skill refreshers on uncommon skills such as Intraosseous access.

Each webinar will include specialist guest speakers and will be hosted by veteran College presenter & NSW Ambulance Paramedic, Dr Alexander Cardenas.

Session One: Applied Paediatric care for the Paramedic

This session is an interactive session that will cover the key components of paediatric care for practicing paramedics. This multidisciplinary workshop will focus on clinical decision making and management of paediatric patients by focusing on the most common difficulties paramedics report with paediatrics. Participants will leave with practical and evidence based solutions they can immediately take to the next shift.
