Motorcycle trauma case studies

About

Two motorcycle trauma case studies, presented by Rupert Freeman, MICA Flight Paramedic Air Ambulance Victoria and Michaela Malcolm, MICA Flight Paramedic Air Ambulance Victoria.

This presentation will detail two extremely challenging cases that required both paramedics to think outside the box.

  • Transporting patients in positions outside the routine
  • Logistical considerations for long jobs
  • Importance of consultation for procedures and advice
  • Working under pressure in high acuity cases
