National Reconciliation Week: Bush Medicine

About the course

National Reconciliation Week: Bush Medicine

The Australasian College of Paramedicine in conjunction with the South Australian Ambulance Service are proud to present this one hour presentation live from Mt Gambier on Bush Medicine.

This event and webinar will be facilitated by Lachlan Graham with special guest Ken Jones.

By the end of this session, participants will have a basic understanding about the history of bush medicine, how certain plants are still used for pain relief, wound care and anxiety relief and how this ancient form of medicine can be used in conjunction with western medicine. The session will also provide clinicians with information that will assist them to provide care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients in a culturally appropriate way.
