FAQs for ACPIC 2025

General
  • What is included in the cost of my registration?
    • In-person attendee inclusions (main conference ticket):
      • Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea (two full days, 11 and 12 September)
      • Pre-conference drinks and light canapes (10 September 2025)
      • Two months' exclusive access to all conference session recordings (sessions on 11 & 12 September)
      • Opportunities to socialise and network with peers and presenters.

      • Live streaming access to all conference sessions on 11 & 12 September
      • Two months' exclusive access to all conference session recordings

    • Please note: Workshop tickets, Student Day tickets and Gala Dinner tickets are not included in either of the above tickets and need to be purchased separately.
  • Who should attend ACPIC 2025?
    • Paramedic students, volunteers, paramedics of all skill levels, researchers and educators. This conference caters to everyone.
  • Can I purchase a one-day ticket?
    • No, one-day conference tickets are not available. When purchasing a face-to-face ticket, you also receive access to the online stream of the conference (11 & 12 September).
  • How many hours CPD do I gain by attending?
    • Face to Face Workshops (11 September) in person only = 7 hours
    • Student Day (11 September) = 7 hours
    • Conference (12 & 13 September) in person or online = 12 hours
  • Do I have to choose which conference sessions I'm attending before the conference?
    • No, you don't have to pre-select which session you would like to attend, you can decide on the day.
    • We suggest picking one room/stream between breaks, but room changes are allowed.
  • Can I cancel my registration? If so, what is the cancellation policy?
    • Cancellation requests for conference bookings are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
    • If you would like to cancel your conference booking, please email events@paramedics.org with reason for cancellation.
    • Please note:
      • Cancellation requests made less than fourteen (14) days from the conference will be subject to payment of 50% of the full ticket price to cover expenses, including loss of revenue.
      • Cancellation requests made within seven (7) days of the conference will not be refunded.
      • If you are unable to attend for any reason, you may have someone substitute for you - contact The College prior to the event on events@paramedics.org to advise of the change.
      • If insufficient registrations are reached or presenters become unavailable The College reserves the right to cancel conferences and full refunds will be provided. The College takes no responsibility for any additional costs incurred to the registrant.
In-person (face-to-face) attendees
  • I am interested in bringing my partner to the dinner, how do I purchase a ticket for them?
Online attendees
  • Are all conference sessions live streamed (including workshops)?
    • No, only conference sessions on the 12th and 13th will be live streamed. The workshops and conference dinner will not be livestreamed.
  • As an online attendee, can I ask questions during a presentation?
    • Yes, online attendees have access to a Q&A box which is accessed by the facilitator at the conference. Please note that in-person questions are often taken first, and limited time is available for Q&A.
