Rural and Remote Special Interest Group

Home / Rural and Remote Special Interest Group

Rural and remote health issues are a high priority. Wherever we live we should be entitled to equal access to health care and we believe that paramedics have a crucial role to play in provision of health services in rural and remote areas.

The Paramedics Australasia Rural and Remote Special Interest Group provides representation on key bodies, such as the National Rural Health Alliance, and provides an important perspective to rural and remote health care.

Since 2014 the Rural and Remote SIG has been sharing information through Twitter @Rural_Paramed_1.  We encourage anyone with an interest in rural issues to participate in the Twitter conversation by posting comments, retweeting, debating the issues or posting interesting materials from around the world.

If you are looking for information about a development or any ideas you have, this may be the place to ask for assistance through our networks.
