We have an exciting opportunity available for you to join our Clinical Outreach team.

Working in partnership with Manaaki Kapiti, this is a unique and rewarding opportunity that encompasses both clinical and wellbeing support services. We are calling for applications from experienced clinical staff such as, Paramedics, Enrolled and Registered Nurses or Pharmacists.

Reporting to the Clinical Lead, your role will be to support whanau in isolation due to Covid. The role is based at Manaaki Kapiti and will include supporting whanau in home or via telephone. You will work in close partnership with patients, general practice, and other health providers to ensure whanau have access to the right support networks and services they require.

Your unique skills will be used to provide:

  • Clinical support and assistance with respiratory management
  • Covid related testing (where applicable)
  • High level decision making

You will also have:

  • A current practicing certificate as a New Zealand Registered Nurse or other health profession
  • Current and full driver license
  • Excellent clinical competency skills
  • A sound understanding and experience in engaging with Maori and Pacific communities
