Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to process my application?

In most cases, your membership will become active immediately, giving you access to online content and member event pricing after joining. We do need to undertake some checks at our end, so in some cases we may request further information and documentation from you, to help us confirm your chosen membership category. This can take up to 14 days but doesn’t restrict your member access.

I am both employed and a volunteer

The volunteer membership is only available to people not employed full time in the field of Paramedicine. If you are both employed and also volunteer your time with another organisation, you would be required to sign up for the ‘employed' plan.

Need more help before joining?

If you have any questions regarding membership, please contact Louise on 1300 730 450 or join@paramedics.org

Do you have special membership fees for part time, casual or maternity leave paramedics?

The College does offer some price reductions for special circumstances but this will not normally be considered on your first year’s membership. In all circumstances, documented evidence of reduced employment hours / income or period of maternity leave will be required. Please contact Louise on the details below to discuss.

Do you provide different payment options?

Students and Volunteers can pay online by credit card. Members on the 'employed' plan can elect to pay by credit card, direct debit or payroll deduction.
