This workshop blends theory, simulation, and practical scenarios to give you tools you can take straight to the road.
Cat Mackay began her paramedicine career with Ambulance Victoria in 2012, following earlier studies and work in Traditional Chinese Medicine, massage, and sports training. She has worked as an ALS Paramedic in both rural Victoria and metropolitan Melbourne, before spending several years as a MICA Paramedic in Melbourne’s western suburbs.
In late 2023, Cat transitioned to the Air Ambulance as a MICA Flight Paramedic. Alongside her clinical practice, she has held a variety of educational and leadership roles within Ambulance Victoria, including Clinical Instructor, Paramedic Educator, and MICA Programs Facilitator and Assessor.
Cat is passionate about mentoring and collaboration, with a strong belief in the value of sharing knowledge and experience across colleagues, services, and professions — both within Australia and internationally.
