Paramedics are smarter, better educated and provide an ever expanding procedural skill set for the most severely injured patients. Yet, the trauma workload will continue to decrease as we become more sophisticated in trauma prevention. A leading car maker has a 2020 vision that vehicle safety technology will not allow the occupants to have a crash causing either fatality or serious injury.

This presentation will explore strategies for improving the quality of practice in the face of a low experience base.
