The current state of hand hygiene practice amongst paramedics: a systematic review

About the course

Lisa McLeod started her academic career by completing a Medical science degree and then began working as a Microbiologist. After a quarter-life crisis, she returned to university at ACU Canberra and completed a Bachelor of Nursing and Paramedicine. She has been working with ACT Ambulance as a Graduate Paramedic for twelve months, while also completing Honours in Paramedicine through Monash University. By combining her two passions for infection control and paramedic practice she decided to complete a project on infection control in the prehospital environment, currently focusing on hand hygeine. Lisa's key interests are paramedic education, infection control and teamwork. She also enjoys patting dogs, crotchet and eating. Can be found on twitter @McLeod_lisa
