The presentation was based on the technical rescue and clinical management of 2 men that fell from the cliffs of Cape Woolamai in 2015. The case analysed some of the rescue challenges and introduce several aviation concepts that are making there way into the medical profession as tools for the pre hospital professional. The presentation discusses the clinical decision-making and management of one of the patients. Followed by a brief critical analysis of the overall case.

Darren Hodge has been a Paramedic for 28 years, and has had a blessed career and enjoyed many roles, such as, Clinical Instructor, Clinical Support Officer, MICA Paramedic and MICA Flight Paramedic. Darren has enjoyed the education aspects of the role and has worked as an educator with several of the associated education providers. Darren is currently employed by Monash and actively teach in the MICA and Aeromedical programs.
