About

This presentation is part of Trauma on the Border 2019

Synopsis: Paramedics often spend more time with dying patients, and the relatives of those patients, than most other health care professionals. The skills required to communicate well in this traumatic setting are usually learnt through osmosis and experience. This presentation will outline common themes and techniques utilised by experienced paramedics when communicating during and after resuscitation in the pre-hospital setting.
