St Andrews Hospital and Genesis care are hosting ACP members for a Cardiac review evening. Real cardiac cases from South Australia will be discussed and reviewed. This session will be led by Dr Peter Sage (Interventional Cardiologist).

Biography: Dr Peter Sage

Peter graduated from the University of Adelaide in 1992. He completed his physician training at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and cardiology training at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He was awarded the FRACP in 1998. In 2000 Peter completed a PhD in cardiovascular pharmacology and was awarded the Ralph Reader (Young Investigator) Prize for this research from the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand. Following his PhD, he received an RACP scholarship to undertake research in restenosis following coronary angioplasty at the University of Sheffield, UK, and during this time completed a fellowship in interventional cardiology. Peter is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Adelaide, a Senior Cardiologist at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Director of Cardiology at St Andrews Hospital. He consults at the St Andrew’s Medical Centre and our Leabrook, Modbury, Unley Road, Kadina and Nuriootpa Clinics. His particular areas of interest are interventional cardiology and cardiovascular pharmacology.
